16S rDNA V3-V4 region amplicon sequencing of gut microbiota of inulin-fed mice

To examine the effects of inulin on gut microbiota, mice were fed ordinary diets or ordinary diets supplemented with 5% inulin for two weeks, and then fecal samples collected from both groups of mice were examined by sequencing the conserved 16S rRNA gene.
