ISO New England Electricity Demand Forecasting Dataset

This dataset contains hourly electricity demand data for 8 distinct regions in New England spanning from 2011 to 2021. These data are utilized for electricity demand forecasting with prediction horizons ranging from 1 day to 60 days. The covered regions include Connecticut, Maine, Northeast Massachusetts and Boston, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Southeast Massachusetts, Vermont, and Central-West Massachusetts. The predictive variables include calendar variables and weather information. The dataset consists of 87,672 training samples covering the period 2011–2020, and 8,760 test samples from the year 2021. The task objective is electricity demand forecasting.
