Data for: An experimentally-validated numerical model of diffusion and speciation of water in silicate melt with applications to rhyolitic volcanism

This dataset includes the original diffusion-couple FTIR analyses by Nowak and Behrens., (1997), and our re-analysis of select samples at Bristol University. Included are the position along the diffusion axis, concentration, and the associated % error for the re-analysed samples.
