Datasets in support of the thesis 'Novel strategies in the early detection of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma'

This dataset contains:
Files accessible using Stata 16 or higher (.dta). .xlsx files are opened with Microsoft Excel. .mat files require MatLab R2018a or higher to open.
Chapter 2 was sourced directly from the UK Biobank and trimmed down to leave the necessary information required to conduct the analyses - which reflects the number of incident PDAC cases without diabetes. Contact UK Biobank to access the original data
Chapter 3 uses the data contained the Excel spread sheet (DEPEND_study_data_collection_final.xlsx) and Final_DEPEND_data.dta containing all of the information and breath testing and NMR results for the DEPEND participants.
Chapter 4 uses the files HVPDAC_final.dta and Final_DEPEND_data.dta files which contains all of the metabolomics results. These were also sourced from rawdata.mat which contains the raw NMR data
