Historical Planning Designation is a Point FeatureClass representing places designated as historical designations in the Cupertino General Plan "Goal LU-6". Historic designation refers to buildings and resources the City looks to preserve and encourage enhancement for in the future. It is primarily used as a visualization layer to understand proximities. The layer is updated as needed by the Planning division and the GIS division Historical Planning Designation has the following fields: OBJECTID: Unique identifier automatically generated by Esri type: OID, length: 4, domain: none Site: The name of the Historical site type: String, length: 254, domain: none Location: Further description of the location type: String, length: 254, domain: none SiteType: Describes site as Historic, Commemorative, Landmark, or Historic Mention. Historic - Projects on Historic Sites shall meet the Secretary of Interior Standards for Treatment of Historic Properties.
