National Transfusion Dataset included in the PHRN Metadata Platform

The National Transfusion Dataset has been included in the Population Health Research Network (PHRN) Metadata Platform. The PHRN is a national collaboration that enables existing data from around Australia to be brought together and made available for important research. The PHRN was established in 2009 and implemented through the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy framework, an initiative of the Australian Government. Early in 2024, the PHRN launched a National Metadata Platform to increase the discoverability of linked data assets. The platform was developed in collaboration with researchers and data custodians to provide a centralised inventory of data collections available for linked data research (https://metadata.phrn.org.au/). The NTD is now included on this platform.
