The study was conducted to determine the oral exposure to PET microplastics on the global transcriptomic profile of the porcine pancreas. The piglets were treated for 4 weeks with two concentrations of PET microplastics â 0.1 g/day and 1 g/day. After four weeks, the piglets were euthanized and tissue was collected for further analysis. RNA-Seq was performed on the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform.
