The present invention relates to a binder of vegetable origin based on modified tall oil pitch， modified vegetable resin and optionally oil. The invention also relates to compositions of waterproofing membrane， soundproofing membrane， liquid waterproofing system， coating of bituminous mixes， coating of asphalt， primer， varnish， mastic， adhesive or emulsion. of binder which comprise said binder as well as a method for reducing the amount of bitumen of petroleum origin in said compositions.
