WGBS and ATAC-seq in Comprehensive multi-omics analysis reveals functional regulatory variants for body weight in cattle

Body weight is a polygenic trait displaying a complex inheritance pattern. The current achievements of functional genomics with multi-layer annotation can help to explore the genetic regulation of complex traits. Here, we characterized the regulation variants for body weight traits based on multi-omics including RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, WGBS, Hi-C etc. Our findings contribute to the comprehensive elucidation of genetic regulation underlying weight traits.
