Data and code for: Heterogeneity in Carbon Emission Efficiency across Global Marine Capture Fisheries: A Metafrontier Analysis of Technology Gaps and Reduction Potentials

Processed data and Python code for the article. Greenhouse gas emissions of marine capture fisheries are estimated at the country × species × year level, and the carbon emission efficiency of 66 countries (1995–2017) is measured with a metafrontier SBM model with an undesirable output. The deposit contains the input–output panel, species-level emissions, the main efficiency results, the analysis scripts that reproduce all tables and figures, and the scripts used to build the data from the original sources.
