EMSES - Plasma-rocket simulations
收藏资源简介:
Dataset from plasma-rocket simulations using the EMSES-code. The data contain four different quantities; electric potential, rocket's floating potential, plasma densities, and particle influx onto to the rocket's surface. influxXYdeg: contains the particle influx onto the rocket surface for the case with Mach-number X and magnetic field angle of Y degrees. pbodyXYdeg contains the rocket's floating potential for the case with Mach-number X and magnetic field angle of Y degrees. phispMXYdeg.h5 contains the electric potential around the rocket for the case with Mach-number X and magnetic field angle of Y degrees. rhoeMXYdeg.h5 contains the electron density around the rocket for the case with Mach-number X and magnetic field angle of Y degrees. rhoiMXYdeg.h5 contains the ion density around the rocket for the case with Mach-number X and magnetic field angle of Y degrees. The magnetic field angle refers to the angle between the magnetic field and the rocket's axis. Details about the EMSES code and its documentation can be found in: "Miyake, Y. & Usui, H. (2009), New electromagnetic particle simulation code for the analysis of spacecraft-plasma interactions. Phys. Plasmas, 16 (6), pp. 062904. doi: http://dx.doi.org/10.1063/1.3147922"
