资源简介:
The series covers course files created within the Social Inclusion and Vocational Access Skills Unit of TAFE NSW. A course is a program of study leading to an Australian Qualification Framework qualification or a statement of attainment. TAFE NSW develops and maintains accredited (referred to as Category 1) and non-nationally recognised courses (referred to as Category 2 - TAFE Statements). The files cover courses developed by the Unit, as well as 'mutually recognised courses' acquired from other states for possible licensing and use by the Unit in NSW. Social Inclusion and Vocational Access in TAFE NSW was a commitment to implement programs enabling learners, from all backgrounds and circumstances, to reach their educational and employment potential. The subjects covered in this series included English for speakers of other languages (ESOL), non-English languages, Aboriginal languages, adult numeracy, literacy, and a wide range of workplace skills. The files are numbered using three different systems:*a 'C' (Course) number which was the course number allocated by the central vocational training authority (the Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board NSW, from 2011 the Australian Skills Quality Authority).*an annual single number with a TAFE prefix (e.g. TAFE08/9999) which was allocated by the Unit. The course number is usually in the file title. *a classified multiple number (e.g. 207/94/9999) which may be from the TAFE central records system and may reflect the transfer of central files to the Unit. The course number is usually in the file title. The files were registered in the Unit's Electronic Document Records Management System. The unit ceased to operate during 2014.
