Biodegradable PLGA nanofibers-encapsulated Trichinella spiralis antigens protect from relapsing experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis and related gut microbiota dysbiosis

The changes in fecal microbiota features were analyzed in EAE-induced Dark Agouti rats treated with Trichinella spiralis-derived excretory-secretory products (ESL1) encapsulated in PLGA nanofibers. The feces samples were collected on the day of EAE induction and on the day of the peak of the disease in control (EAE-induced non-treated) and ESL1/PLGA-treated EAE-induced rats.
