A PLYWOOD PANEL AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A coated plywood panel (200) comprising a first veneer layer (110a) comprising wood， a second veneer layer (110b) comprising wood， adhesive (120) in between the first veneer layer (110a) and the second veneer layer (110b)， a waterproofing layer (130) having a first side (132) and a second side (134)， and protective layer (210) comprising a vapour permeable or semi-permeable layer (210， 210a). The first side (132) is attached to the first veneer layer (110a) by a first adhesion strength (σ1) such that the first side (132) faces the first veneer layer (110a) and the first veneer layer (110a) is left in between the second veneer layer (110b) and the waterproofing layer (130). The protective layer (210) is attached to the second side (134) of the waterproofing layer (130) by a second adhesion strength (σ2) that is less than the first adhesion strength (σ1) such that the vapour permeable or semi-permeable layer (210， 210a) is arranged in direct connection with the protective layer (130). The protective layer (210) is removable from the waterproofing layer (130) such that the removal of the protective layer (210) reveals a bondable surface (135).
