Explorer of the Seas Total Sky Imager (TSI)

Operation of shipboard instrumentation aboard the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines
Explorer of the Seas cruise vessel in the southwestern North Atlantic Ocean to
gather oceanographic and atmospheric data. The vessel is based in Miami and
makes weekly year-round cruise tracks. It is outfitted with several suites of
ocean monitoring instrumentation. The area of study ranges from the east coast
of Florida to the Florida Straits including three major transport passages
between the Atlantic and Caribbean. To gather and disseminate real time
observational measurements on sky conditions using total sky imagery (TSI)
instrumentation.
