资源简介:
This Bowl is an example of Style II from the Saige-McFarland site, a Mimbres village along the Upper Gila river in southwestern New Mexico. The site was occupied during the Late Pithouse and Classic Mimbres periods (ca. AD 550-1130). It has three or four Classic roomblocks, a Three Circle phase (ca. 750-1000) great kiva and numerous pithouse depressions. Saige-McFarland was excavated by the Upper Gila Project as part of a field school of Case Western University. Years later, Lekson worked with the notes and records to compile a comprehensive report published in 1990 http://library.lib.asu.edu/record=b2457254~S3. Most of the Saige-McFarland material is in the Museum of New Mexico, Laboratory of Anthropology.
