[C4OC] Regional Landcare Facilitator for the South Coast Region of WA

The Regional Landcare Facilitator role will continue to contribute to developing a skilled and capable landcare community in the South Coast NRM region. This program will increase social capital (Woodhouse 2006) in the region by increasing community skills, knowledge and engagement, and their ability to accept and adopt changes in sustainable agriculture.
The value of increased social capital for NRM stakeholders, particularly in developing leadership and in improving skills, integration of NRM outcomes into farm and local level planning, and uptake of best management practices has been demonstrated through their role over the first phase of Caring for our Country.
