资源简介:
Indigo is a type of vat dye insoluble in water that needs to be transformed to its reduced form (leuco-indigo) to penetrate and dye textile fabrics. Industrial dyeing uses chemicals to reduce indigo, these chemicals are very harmful to the environment. This study aims to characterise and compare the bacterial community of different types indigo preparations. It uses samples of reduction fluids made with sukumo, Ryukyu ai and Indian Indigo. There have been studies exploring the microbiota reduction fluids made with sukumo and woad, this study is the first to characterise and compare the community in preparations using other sources of indigo. This new information can help the development of a better indigo reducing process, that may one day substitute chemical transformation.
