Key flow and turbulence data collected during the "Detailed Spatial Sampling" Experiment concerning flow within and above a horizontally homogeneous forest are provided. The experiment provides key reference data for other wind tunnel experiments investigating wind damage over forests. The experiment was conducted at the CSIRO wind tunnel facility in the FC Pye Lab, Black Mountain Science and Innovation Precinct, Canberra.
