Preferred types of holiday in the Americas for affluent consumers worldwide Q2 2024

According to a global study conducted in the second quarter of 2024, city breaks were the most popular type of vacation for affluent consumers who were likely to visit the Americas within the following year. As of that period, around 25 percent of respondents mentioned this type of trip. Meanwhile, roughly 21 percent of the sample reported being likely to take a family holiday in the region. Overall, nearly 27 percent of surveyed consumers did not plan a holiday trip to the Americas.
