资源简介:
In this paper, we reported DYMUS (Dysphagia in Multiple Sclerosis) and the EAT-10( Eating Assessment Tool) questionnaires score from patients and caregivers. DYMUS is composed by 10 items, all the answers are dichotomous, coded as 1 or 0, depending on the presence or absence of the event (range of score: 0–10; higher = worse). EAT-10 is a clinical scale used to document dysphagia symptoms severity in patients with swallowing disorders. EAT-10 includes 10 questions, each scored from 0 to 4 (“no problem” to “severe problem”); the total score is calculated by adding the scores of each question, with a higher score indicating higher self-perceived dysphagia severity. For the comparison of DYMUS with fiber-optic endoscopic evaluation (FEES), patients underwent the instrumental evaluation. Based on FEES findings, dysphagia severity was rated according to the Dysphagia Outcome Severity Scale (DOSS). This database includes the raw data of Hoehn & Yahr staging system, MDS-Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale part 3, disease duration and MMSE (Mini-Mental State Examination) of each patient.
