Retail price of iodized salt per kilogram in India 2022, by major city

The average retail price of salt per kilogram in Mumbai was the highest amounting to 26 Indian rupees in December 2022. In contrast, in Kolkata, the average retail price of salt was 20 Indian rupees per kilogram, more than the national average of above 21.5 Indian rupees.
