In the present study, we identified and characterized bovine clinical mastitis (CM) associated Klebsiella pneumoniae strains isolated from milk and feces of CM cows. We collected fecal and milk samples from CM cows, identified through culture, biochemical tests and ribosomal (16S rRNA) gene sequencing. Finally, molecular characterization of antimicrobial resistance and virulence factor genes, and plasmid typing of K. pneumoniae in bovine mastitis.
