PELD do Oeste do Pará (POPA)/LTER of western Pará (POPA): Comunidade de plantas herbáceas da Floresta Nacional do Tapajós, Santarém, PA

Herbaceous plants have high sensitivity to environmental gradients and can therefore be considered effective environmental indicators to measure impacts. We sampled 26 plots in three different parts of Floresta Nacional do Tapajós, municipality of Belterra, Pará, Brazil. Each plot had 250 m x 1.5 m, and we recorded frequency and coverage of herbaceous plants (ferns, lycophytes, and angiosperms) using the PPBio protocol for ferns and lycophytes.
