Research Data and Documentation for "Quantitative Exploration of Supplement Use among German HYROX Athletes"

This dataset contains the anonymized survey data of the study “Quantitative Exploration of Supplement Use among German HYROX Athletes”. The study investigates dietary supplement use among German HYROX athletes, focusing on the type and frequency of supplements consumed, underlying motives, use of professional advice, and associations with age, sex, performance level, training volume, and athletic- and health-related priorities. Data were collected using a standardized online questionnaire hosted on the SoSci Survey platform (https://www.soscisurvey.de/hyroxumfrage/) between April 29 and July 21, 2025. A total of N = 223 German HYROX athletes participated (mean age 35.7 ± 9.8 years).
