Characterization of postnatal mouse adrenal chromaffin cells

Chromaffin cells were selected from dissociated postnatal mouse adrenals by immunopanning using L1CAM, expanded in sphere cultures and analyzed by RNA sequencing Dissociated mouse adrenal cells were sorted into L1CAM-positive chromaffin cells and L1CAM-negative cells using an immunopanning protocol. L1CAM-positive and L1CAM-negative cell populations were maintained in sphere cultures for 5-8 days. The spheres were collected for RNA extraction and sequencing by centrifugation through a 3%BSA step gradient to eliminate debris. The cell pellet was dissolved in RA1 + beta-mercaptoethanol.
