Whole genome short-read sequencing of white-footed mice from Boston Harbor (Boston, Massachusetts)

Whole genomes of wild-caught white-footed mice from two islands (Peddocks and Bumpkin) and one mainland (World's End) location in the Boston Harbor (Boston, MA) were sequenced using Illumina paired-end reads. This population genomic dataset was constructed for the purpose of reconstructing the demographic history, identifying targets of positive selection, and inferring the distribution of fitness effects for populations of mice that follow the island rule.
