This archive contains the reproducible analysis pipeline, derived data, and generated figures accompanying the article "Inherently at Risk: Low floral morphological variability predicts conservation risk" (Tremblay, Leon-Rodríguez, Colon-Miranda & Melendez Hebib; Cambridge Prisms: Extinction). The study evaluates whether reduced within-species floral morphological variability — measured as species-level coefficients of variation (CV) for seven floral dimensions — is associated with elevated conservation risk in Caribbean orchids (n = 240 species). The analysis uses class-weighted logistic regression across m = 100 multiple imputations, complete-subset model selection over 127 candidate models with the Bayesian Information Criterion, Monte Carlo cross-validation (N = 500 folds) with a permutation test (B = 10,000), a phylogenetic re-analysis based on the Open Tree of Life, a single-island-endemism geographic covariate, and collinearity and missingness diagnostics. Contents: all R analysis scripts (R/), the derived data (species-level CVs, IUCN conservation status, and geographic-range codings), the island-endemism covariate and its extraction code, and all generated result tables and figures. The cache/ objects (imputations, phylogeny, cross-validation) are not included; they are regenerated by running the pipeline in order (see README.md). Licensing: source code is released under the MIT License; data and figures under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY-4.0). The raw floral measurements are derived quantities computed from a published regional flora — Ackerman JD (2014), Orchid Flora of the Greater Antilles (New York Botanical Garden Press) — which is itself not redistributed here; anyone reusing the underlying measurements should consult and cite Ackerman (2014).
