The flight test data of the active phased array weather radar installed on the ARJ21-700 aircraft serves as a critical basis for verifying whether the functions and performance of the domestic active phased array weather radar meet expectations after installation. After completing the modification of the domestic active phased array weather radar on the ARJ21-700 aircraft, comprehensive extraction and recording of the bus data of the ARJ21-700 aircraft were carried out through the flight test modification project, including radar detection data, flight status data, meteorological environment data, interaction data between the radar and the avionics system, etc., to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the flight test data. During the flight test, multiple flight test profiles were designed based on the technical characteristics of the active phased array weather radar, covering different flight phases and complex meteorological conditions, so as to comprehensively evaluate the radar's performance. Through in-depth analysis of the flight test data, key indicators such as the radar's detection range, target recognition accuracy, scanning speed, hazardous weather warning function, and compatibility with the aircraft's avionics system were verified, ensuring that it can meet the meteorological detection requirements of civil aircraft in actual operation.
