ZipCheckup U.S. Environmental Safety Data by ZIP Code
收藏资源简介:
ZIP-level environmental safety data for 41,000+ U.S. ZIP codes, aggregated from 50+ federal data sources including EPA SDWIS, CDC, USGS, FEMA, and U.S. Census Bureau. Covers 17 safety verticals: drinking water quality, surface water quality, air quality (AQI), radon risk, PFAS contamination, lead exposure, flood hazard, wildfire risk, earthquake risk, extreme heat, and more. Each ZIP code includes a composite Home Safety Score (0-100, letter grade A-F) computed from weighted vertical scores. This dataset includes 39 fields per ZIP code: home safety score and grade, city, state, county, population, water system name (PWSID), water source type, EPA violation counts, lead and copper levels, radon zone, contaminant names, geographic coordinates, lead exposure risk indicators (housing age, service line probability, 90th percentile lead levels), wildfire/NRI risk ratings, Superfund site proximity, and remediation affordability scores. Data sources: EPA Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS), EPA ECHO, EPA UCMR5 (PFAS), USGS Water Quality Portal, CDC PLACES, AirNow/EPA AQS, FEMA NFHL, FEMA National Risk Index (NRI), EPA Radon Zones, EPA Superfund NPL, U.S. Census Bureau ACS, and others. Updated quarterly. Full methodology at https://zipcheckup.com/about/home-safety-score/
