Hostel Management System Project Report

As the name specifies “HOSTEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” is a softwaredeveloped for managing various activities in the hostel. For the past few years thenumber of educational institutions are increasing rapidly. Thereby the number of hostelsare also increasing for the accommodation of the students studying in this institution.And hence there is a lot of strain on the person who are running the hostel and software’s are not usually used in this context. This particular project deals with the problems on managing a hostel and avoids the problems which occur when carried manually.Identification of the drawbacks of the existing system leads to the designing ofomputerized system that will be compatible to the existing system with the systemWhich is more user friendly and more GUI oriented. We can improve the efficiency ofthe system, thus overcome the drawbacks of the existing system.

正如其名所指示，“宿舍管理系统”是一款旨在管理宿舍内各项活动的软件。近年来，随着教育机构的快速增长，宿舍的数量也相应增加，以容纳就读于这些机构的学生。因此，对运营宿舍的个人而言，压力日益增大，而在这一领域通常不使用软件。本项目的核心在于解决宿舍管理中的问题，并避免手动操作时可能出现的种种弊端。通过对现有系统不足之处的识别，我们设计了一套与现有系统兼容的计算机化系统，该系统具有更高的用户友好性和图形用户界面导向性。通过提升系统的效率，我们得以克服现有系统的不足之处。
