Data and Code for "Velocity Dispersion in Upstream Ion Events: New Understanding from IMAP Observations at L1"
收藏资源简介:
This record contains the SWAPI data product and the code used to generate it for the paper "Velocity Dispersion in Upstream Ion Events: New Understanding from IMAP Observations at L1." It includes the one-minute ion differential flux for 2026 February 7. Magnetic field, CoDICE-Lo, and SWE measurements used elsewhere in the paper come directly from the IMAP Science Data Center and are not duplicated here. The official SWAPI differential flux product (Level 3b) is released at 10-minute cadence. To reach 1-minute resolution, we start from the SWAPI Level 2 coincidence count rates, which have a native cadence of 12 s. For each of the 62 coarse-sweep energy steps, we average the rates into 1-minute bins. We then convert them to differential flux, J = C/(G*E). This is the same method used for the Level 3b product. When averaged to 10 minutes, our flux matches the Level 3b product for this day to a relative difference of less than 1e-5. The included test validates this. Read notes.md for more details.
