Replication data for "Voters don’t care too much about policies: How politicians conceive of voting motives'" Repository contains following files: (1) "votingmotives.dta" = dataset used in paper for Figure 1, Figure 2, and Appendix table II. (raw dataset cannot be shared because of anonimity promises made to the participating politicians and the ethical committee at the university of Antwerp). and (2) "replication syntax voting motives.do": the syntax for the descriptive findings in Figure 1 and the explanatory analysis (Figure 2 and appendix 2).
