Simulated streamflow and model performance from DECIPHeR-GW with and without human water management across 450 catchments in England
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the model simulation result of the study reported in: Zheng, Y., Coxon, G., Pianosi, F., Woods, R., Rahman, M., Devitt, L., Rameshwaran, P., Johnes, P., Howden, N., High-resolution human water management data are valuable yet yield limited improvement for hydrological modelling (in review) The study quantifies how much representing human water management improves streamflow simulation across England. DECIPHeR-GW was applied to 450 catchments under two scenarios: a benchmark in which no human water management is represented, and a scenario in which groundwater abstraction, surface water abstraction and return flows are included as forcing. Three files are provided: daily simulated streamflow from the best performing simulation of each scenario, and model performance metrics (KGE, NSE, logNSE, non-parametric KGE and the three KGE components) for both the best performing simulation and the top 5% median. Full details of file structure and known caveats are given in README.txt.
