This volume appears to be a checklist of some of the glass and film negatives held by the Government Printing Office and compiled to assist with the production of the laser disc of these images. The register lists variously: the film roll number; location number (this appears to be the negative number); control number (this appears to be a check that the negative is there); and comments (eg. broken, missing, shots back to front). The information relates to a number of collections of negatives: Star; Sharkey; and the Macleay Museum Collection - comprising the Kerry Collection, Hall Collection, Harnet Collection, Harnet Collection prints and Smith Collection prints.
