"Pearl_CO2_CH4" is the Supplementary Dataset for the manuscript entitled 'Magnitude of CO<sub>2</sub> and CH<sub>4</sub> emissions in the large subtropical Pearl River Basin'.The data includes the sampling date, location, concentrations and emission rates of CO<sub>2</sub> and CH<sub>4</sub> for spatial gas samples (n = 62) collected in the Pearl River in the wet season (July-August) and the dry season (December) of 2021.
