<p>The site archives a number of codes written in Matlab to calculate the DAS strain and strain rate responses accounting for a straight, perfectly coupled fiber.&nbsp; The codes consider separately P and SV wave responses as functions of the material velocity, the DAS gage length, the input wavelet and the plane wave angle of incidence.&nbsp; The effects of material attenuation on the DAS response over a single gage is included only for the case of a P-wave propagating parallel to the fiber.&nbsp;&nbsp; The complete set of codes as well as associated convenient scripts to run them is contained in the zipped file DAS_Matlab.zip.&nbsp; The document READ ME.docx contains a detailed listing of the included programs as well as information on operating them.</p>
