Ladybirds (Harmonia axyridis) were collected in the field in october/november 2010 in France and Belgium. The file "FLIGHT_SPEED_ENDURANCE_Lombaert_et_al_JEB-2013-00585.txt" contains the phenotypic data of the flight speed and endurance experiment. They were used and described in the article "Rapid increase in dispersal during range expansion in the invasive ladybird Harmonia axyridis". Columns titles are as described in the methods section. The file "MOTIVATION_TO_FLY_Lombaert_et_al_JEB-2013-00585.txt" contains the phenotypic data of the motivation to fly off experiment. They were used and described in the article "Rapid increase in dispersal during range expansion in the invasive ladybird Harmonia axyridis". Columns titles are as described in the methods section. The file "GENOTYPES_Lombaert_et_al_JEB-2013-00585.txt" contains the genotypes of 247 individuals from 8 population samples of the Asian Ladybird Harmonia axyridis (GENEPOP file). They were used and described in the article "Rapid increase in dispersal during range expansion in the invasive ladybird Harmonia axyridis". Population samples names are as in Figure 1 and Table S1.
