RNA-seq of rVSV-EBOV vaccinated and EBOV challenged cynomolgus macaques

This study was designed to understand the mechanisms by which rVSV-EBOV provides protection against EBOV challenge. A longitudinal gene expression analysis of peripheral blood mononuclear cells collected from cynomolgus macaques after rVSV-EBOV immunization was performed. Moreover, characterization longitudinal changes in gene expression within whole blood samples collected post EBOV challenge from non-depleted and T cell-depleted macaques after vaccination and EBOV challenge was carried out.
