资源简介:
The binding of IgA antibodies to the Gal epitope on mouse laminin, which has 50-70 alpha-galactosyl epitopes per molecule, increased 4- to 50-fold by ELISA 20 to 55 days after transplantation of porcine ICC. The activity of IgA anti-Gal antibodies was less than IgM or IgG antibodies. The total IgG, IgM, or IgA concentration did not increase. The authors concluded that the increased anti-Gal activity was the result of a specific immune response against the alpha-galactosyl epitopes on the xenograft.
