In this study, we generated an NtGLK85 overexpression line in the K326 tobacco variety, named D710. Both the transgenic line (T2) and the control variety K326 were planted in the field. Phenotypic investigation revealed that D710 exhibited a faster growth rate and a shorter growth cycle compared to the wild-type K326. Samples were collected at three stages: 30 days (A), 45 days (B), and 65 days (C) after transplantation. We used RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) to analyze the transcriptomes of K326 and D710, along with physiological and biochemical data.
