Exome sequencing of a breast cancer cell line KAIMRC1 and the germline control

Our goal was to characterize the genetic variants of a newly established breast cancer cell line KAIMRC1 from a Arab woman of 62 year age and diagnosed with stage IIB infiltrating ductal carcinoma. The final pathological staging according to the 7th AJCC TNM staging system was T2N1M0. These cells are ER/PR-positive and HER2-negative. We also sequenced the patient's PBMC to be used a germline control. Together cell line and its germline Exome sequence are analyzed to identify somatic mutations in the KAIMRC1 cell line.
