Cefiderocol represents one of the few antimicrobials active against NDM-producing K. pneumoniae, and after its introduction in clinical practice, only sporadic cases of resistant strains have been reported. In this study we describe a nosocomial outbreak by cefiderocol-resistant clinical isolates of NDM-producing ST147 Klebsiella pneumoniae, 2021 to 2022, Florence (Tuscany, Italy).
