Irrigable Land Use Classes - Arenales Living Lab - WaterTheft Project
收藏资源简介:
Irrigable Land Use Classes (Remote Sensing-based) Arenales Living Lab (2018 - 2020) Douro basin, Castilla y León, Spain To classify irrigated agricultural areas satellite-based, the approach briefly consists of applying threshold values on the Vegetation Index (VI) time series, particularly using NDVI Time Series, from remote sensing imagery to distinguish different crops or crop groups that develop over certain time periods within an irrigation campaign. To support VI thresholds, the approach benefits from local knowledge on cultivated crop types, agricultural areas distribution and agroclimatology conditions. This dataset contains the Irrigable Land Uses along 3 natural Years (2018 - 2020). This dataset is a first version. The dataset may be updated during the project.
