Genome Sequencing Data of Cotton Aphis gossypii Resistance

In this study, an F2 population was constructed from two parents with extreme aphid resistance. Four cotton aphid resistant QTLs were obtained through ddRAD sequencing, and a candidate gene GhLAC4-3 was identified by transcriptome analysis. This gene belongs to the laccase family. VIGS experiment shows that GhLAC4-3 can regulate the biosynthesis of plant lignin, thereby increasing the aphid resistance of cotton.
