Climate change affects both natural and human systems. On the natural system side, climate change alters the structure and function of ecosystems and exacerbates extreme weather events. In terms of human systems, climate change threatens water and food security, as well as human health, and has cascading effects on key economic sectors. Climate change projection mainly involves estimating future trends in key climate factors such as temperature rise and precipitation. Climate change governance mainly covers two core strategies: mitigation and adaptation. In terms of emission reduction, in addition to the application of emission reduction technologies, it also relies on a series of emission reduction policies, including mainstream policy measures such as international cooperation emission reduction mechanism, carbon pricing mechanism, and electricity market reform.
