This dataset provides encrypted\u2013decrypted IoT\u2013Edge communication logs generated using the Dynamic Session Enhanced Key Protocol (DSEKP) between an ESP32\u2013DHT11 sensor node and a Raspberry Pi 5 edge server over MQTT. DSEKP introduces dynamic session-based key updates, enabling secure, lightweight rekeying during continuous IoT communication. The dataset includes a 6,500-packet primary CSV containing AES-GCM encrypted payloads, session counters, timestamps, and latency metrics, along with 42 multi-session reliability trials capturing reconnection behavior and dynamic rekey performance. Two JSON key-store files are also provided, representing append-mode (last five session keys) and write-mode (latest session key only) operation. All logs were collected from real hardware under synchronized timing to support reproducible research on IoT security, session-based cryptography, and performance benchmarking. This dataset enables comparative evaluation with baseline PSK systems, lightweight encryption schemes, and other dynamic key-management protocols.
