These records are mainly those of the New South Wales Sub-Committee of the Water Resources Conference from its inaugural meeting on 23 October 1953. Included are copies of agendas, minutes and reports of meetings, and records relating to the collection of hydrological data. Such records include maps and tables of catchment areas and gauging stations in New South Wales; rainfall observations; circulars and letters to officers advising on procedure in the recording of hydrological data, and documents giving information on hydrological recording and the necessary equipment.
