Base on expression change of genes and miRNAs, we concluded that IAA metabolism exerted an important role in regulating ARs formation. Moderate improvement of endogenous IAA content at the induction stage in hypocotyl was benefit for ARs development, although genes involved in IAA synthesis (indole-3-acetic acid-amido synthetase GH3) and IAA transport (Auxin and PIN) were down-regulated in expression after treatment with sucrose.
