GeoNet Aoteroa New Zealand Shaking Layers Dataset

Shaking Layers are shaking intensity maps generated minutes after a NZ earthquake. These products are available for earthquake events of magnitude 4 or higher. Using the instrumental data from GeoNet’s strong motion stations and felt report data as inputs, the maps provide information on earthquake intensity, peak ground acceleration, peak ground velocity and spectral acceleration.
